Looking For Leadership | Best 60ish Seconds

Charlie begins this week's Best 60ish highlighting St. Patrick's Day tomorrow and the first day of spring arriving Tuesday. He moves on to discuss President Biden and former President Donald Trump, both clinching their parties' nominations. Charlie says he is still predicting that ultimately, President Biden will not be the Democratic Party's nominee.

Next, he talks about Special counsel Robert Hur testifying before Congress regarding his report on President Biden's handling of classified documents. Charlie says that although the president is not being indicted for his illegal handling of these documents, the report's reference to Biden's mental capacity is politically damaging.

He moves on to discuss Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro announcing his energy plan for the state, which would pull Pennsylvania out of the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) but create a new energy tax for Pennsylvania. Charlie says that as one of the country's leading energy producers, this tax would only hurt Pennsylvania and its residents.
