Looking Good | Best 60ish Seconds

Charlie delivers this week's Best 60ish Seconds looking ahead to spring training as the Phillies' postseason run came to a screeching halt this past Wednesday. Meanwhile, November 5th is quickly approaching and Charlie discusses why he sees the landscape looking increasingly good for Republicans from the national to local level. Charlie comments that Donald Trump is in his in ascendency highlighting his return to Butler, Pa. this past week. While Donald Trump's visit to western Pennsylvania resurrected memories of the assassination attempt and emotions of strength, he questions Kamala Harris' strategy to shroud herself behind media interviews, specifically mentioning her "60 Minutes" interview. Continuing on the subject of CBS News, Charlie calls out Tony Dokoupil’s interview with author Ta-Nehisi Coates. "The First Amendment flew out the window a long time ago and now we're getting censorship of a different sort," says Charlie. And in closing, Charlie reflects on the passing of Ethel Kennedy, the wife of Sen. Robert F. Kennedy and mother to 11 children, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr. "She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered," concludes Charlie.
