Meet Charlie Gerow

Charlie Gerow is a national conservative leader with deep Pennsylvania roots.

Charlie served as the Vice Chairman of CPAC and the American Conservative Union. He resigned in August, 2023, following several other resignations that raised questions about the management of CPAC.

A small businessman, he’s CEO of Quantum Communications. He has won numerous awards and recognitions for his leadership of Quantum Communications.

For decades Charlie has been the conservative voice in Pennsylvania media, appearing several times weekly on television and radio, and authoring weekly columns for the various newspaper publications.

Charlie began his career on the campaign staff of Ronald Reagan for whom he did work for many years, including the arrangements for his funeral.

He’s been an elected member of the Republican State Committee, and has also been elected multiple times as a Delegate to the Republican National Convention. Charlie has attended more Republican National Conventions than any other Pennsylvanian.

Charlie was born into poverty in southern Brazil, adopted by American missionaries, came to the United States and has lived in Pennsylvania for more than 60 years.

A varsity athlete in both high school and college, he’s a Director Emeritus of the Keystone State Games. He’s coached high school, AAU and CYO basketball and has been a broadcaster for both professional and collegiate soccer and PIAA basketball.

Charlie graduated from Messiah College (B.A.) and Villanova University School of Law (J.D.) He is the father of three adult children.

He has received the prestigious Icon Award for his service to the community, and been named one of the most influential Pennsylvanians in multiple publications. He is one of two Pennsylvanians to be awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award from Citizens Against Higher Taxes.
