A Team of Faith | Best 60ish Seconds
While it might be Valentine's Day weekend, Charlie is still wearing green in celebration of the Eagles' "absolute domination over a team that wore red" in last Sunday's Super Bowl.
Looking back at the game, Charlie offers a few of his highs and lows of America's biggest sporting event. And he goes on to call this season's Eagles "a team of faith," as so many players noted their faith in Jesus Christ in supporting their work on and off the field. And off the field and following the game, Charlie highlights Eagles' receiver A.J. Brown visiting the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia this past Wednesday to visit 10-year-old Andre Howard. Howard was injured sheltering his sister from debris during the recent deadly plane crash in Northeast Philadelphia.
Switching to politics, Charlie says "the Trump administration is really moving at warp speed to do what they promised to do." He notes Robert F. Kennedy Jr. being sworn in as health and human services secretary, Tulsi Gabbard confirmed as director of national intelligence, and discusses the behemoth that is the federal bureaucracy and its thousands of unelected bureaucrats who have tremendous power. Charlie says a controlled, more-efficient federal government should be applauded by everyone.
