In this week's Best 60ish Seconds Charlie discusses Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg's case against former President Trump which Charlie says is a "political case" and has many issues from a legal standpoint. He moves on to talk about the congressional hearings this week regarding TikTok which he says there seems to be bipartisan support to ban the Chinese-owned company.
Charlie goes on to discuss Stanford University's Law School putting the Associate Dean of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Tirien Steinbach, on leave after joining students in berating U.S. 5th Circuit Court Judge Kyle Duncan who was visiting the campus to give a lecture. He then highlights the markets taking a tumble after the Fed's announcement to again hike interest rates. Charlie also discusses the craziness of this year's March Madness saying the upsets are what make the tournament so much fun! He closes this week's segment on a sad note mentioning the loss of former NBA Champion & MVP Willis Reed.
