Armed Forces Day 2024 | Best 60ish Seconds

Charlie begins this week's Best 60ish Seconds by thanking all those serving in our Armed Forces, and encourages everyone to extend their gratitude to our military personnel as we celebrate Armed Forces Day. He also highlights the Preakness Stakes running today (post time is 7:01 p.m. ET) as the winner of the Kentucky Derby, Mystik Dan, tries to win the second leg of the Triple Crown.

Charlie moves on to discuss the latest political news: Trump's rally in Wildwood, New Jersey; two presidential debates are set between Trump and Biden; the 2024 Democratic National Convention; and the Trump "hush money" trial. As the trial winds down to its conclusion, Charlie says this should be a fast acquittal. He adds that there are so many problems with the case, so if former President Trump is convicted, it will be overturned on appeal.
